Keith Hamlett

Keith Hamlett moved from Manchester to Criccieth in North Wales in 2005. This inspired him to work closely from landscape and seascape. His first one-man exhibition was in 1975 at the Liverpool Academy Gallery. Most of his recent work are drawings, paintings and relief sculptures.

Keith said about his 3D work: “The relief sculptures I create are polychromatic incorporating Welsh slate, cement and then coloured using egg tempera. The pigments for much of the egg tempera are earth pigments collected from the ancient copper mine of Parys mountain, Anglesey.”
